Auto Glass Technician Certification & Training
In 2007, IGA ended five years of development for its auto glass technician certification and training program. Launched in January 2008, IGA auto glass technician certification is the only AGRSS-registered program offered by an industry non profit. The training and testing is designed to be conducted completely online to allow companies and their technicians to train at their own pace without the added expense of traveling to a remote testing site (on-site training is available for an additional fee).

Free AGRSS-Registration
In 2007, IGA became the only organization to pay the AGRSS registration fees of its members during its Annual Conference and Spring Auto Glass Show™. Due to the popularity of the 2007 session and member benefit, IGA will continue to extend the same promise to its members at future Annual Conferences. IGA will pay the registration fee for members who attend key AGRSS seminars at association sponsored conferences. Members will be notified in advance of such opportunities.
Technical Assistance
IGA members who may be seeking advice on performing certain types of installs, using certain types of equipment or general install-related questions can use IGA's technical assistance services. Members can access the IGA’s technical services department during regular business hours by calling the main office at 540/720-7484 or emailing info@iga.org.
IGA’s staff will then research to see if the technical support service has already addressed this issue and forward any information. New questions or concerns are forwarded to IGA Technical Director who will research the problem and respond to the IGA as soon as possible. In some cases Beranek may contact the member directly, especially if the tech is in the midst of an installation.
